What This Page Solves
Note is where raw transcription becomes usable output.
It is the place to:
- correct obvious factual errors
- normalize names, numbers, and terminology
- keep an edited note body that can outlive the raw transcript
- prepare the context for AI follow-up and export
When To Use It
Prefer Note when
- transcription is done and now needs review
- you want one place to keep transcript, edited note, and follow-up output together
- the result will be searched, reused, or shared later
Do not stop before this step when
- the transcription contains names, dates, or numbers that still need checking
- you plan to use AI Chat on top of the result
- you want the output to become a durable project record
Recommended Workflow
- Fix the highest-risk factual issues first.
- Keep the transcript visible while you build the edited note body.
- Promote only trusted content into the note body.
- Use AI Chat for summary or extraction after the base text is credible.
- Export only after the edited note is ready.
Key Decisions
1. Treat the note body as the durable output
The transcript is the source record. The note body is the curated output you actually want to keep using.
2. Fix facts before style
Before polishing tone or structure, fix:
- people and company names
- numbers and dates
- terminology and abbreviations
3. Keep transcript and note close together
That layout is useful because it lets you verify edits against the source instead of rewriting from memory.
Common Mistakes And Troubleshooting
- Keeping only the AI summary and ignoring the transcript Preserve both source context and curated output.
- Exporting before terminology is normalized Fix shared names and vocabulary first.
- Leaving important results only inside chat history Move durable conclusions into the note body.
